You're invited to join 35th Ward Alderman Anthony Quezada and me for a casual morning of coffee and community conversation! This is a great opportunity to share your thoughts, ask questions, and discuss the issues that matter most to our neighborhoods, from public safety, and affordable housing, to local development and city and state services. 

We’ll be gathering at Sip of Hope Coffee, 3039 W Fullerton Ave. on Saturday, September 6, from 10am to 12pm. Whether you have a specific concern or just want to stay informed and connected, we’d love to see you there!

Office Closure Notice

Our office will be closed on Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 2, for regular hours, from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Backpacks

Our office gathered A LOT of backpacks this year for our Back to School Fair! If you are still preparing for the start of the school year, call our district office to schedule a time to pick up a free backpack with school supplies, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.  

Lucha Libre

Unity Park Advisory Council is bringing Lucha Libre in the Park back on Saturday, August 30 at 12pm, at Unity Park, 2636 N Kimball Ave. Expect high-flying moves, colorful masks, and non-stop action as wrestlers put on a show you won’t forget! Bring your friends, family, and energy—this is a fight you want to see ringside! 

Homeowners United Resource Fair 

Join Northwest Center at the Homeowners United Resource Fair—a free event in partnership with 30th Ward Alderwoman Ruth Cruz to support Cook County homeowners and families on Wednesday, September 3, at Metropolitan Family Services, 3249 N. Central Ave.
