💼🌷Save the Date for our Spring Job Fair!

Dear Neighbor,

Whether you’re a recent graduate, a student seeking summer employment, or simply looking for your next career opportunity and stable, meaningful work, I hope you’ll join my office on Friday, April 24 for a Spring Job Fair.

The fair will be at Kilbourn Park, 3501 N Kilbourn Ave. from 10am to 1pm and feature representatives from a variety of government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and private sector employers with open positions. Community organizations will be on site to provide interview coaching and resume assistance. And there will also be two Job Preparedness Workshops at the fair: a session in Spanish at 11am and a session in English at 11:30am.

If you need support with your resume or cover letter prior to the fair, please contact the Center for Changing Lives at (773) 342-6210.

If you’re an employer looking to reserve a space at the fair, please scan the QR code on the flyer, visit bit.ly/3N4YWg1, or call my office at (773) 853-2570.

All my best,

Will

Fund Our Communities: Illinois State Budget Town Hall

Join The People's Lobby for a town hall on using our state's budget to defend Illinois from MAGA, ICE, and economic violence!

Our state budget is the first line of defense against the Trump administration. Next year’s federal budget pays for ICE violence and cuts funding for food assistance and health care that working families desperately need to survive. We must fight back against Trump's tax cuts with a state budget that reflects the needs of our communities.
