Summer-So-Far Recap in the 39th District! ☀️
Dear Neighbor,
Our office has had a busy summer so far, and we’d love to update you on some of these exciting events!
We started the summer with an office move to 3001 N Central Park. You can now find us at the corner of Central Park and Milwaukee in Avondale.
The 39th District Team, along with Rep. Lillian Jimenez’s and Sen. Omar Aquino’s offices hosted a Legislative Recap Town Hall last Friday. Over 60 community members gathered at Koz Park over tacos and discussion on our districts’ legislative focuses of healthcare, education, housing, and other state budget priorities!
My office also teamed up with elected officials. nonprofits, and local park advisory councils for a Unity Bike Ride throughout Belmont Cragin.
We celebrated the success of the Freelancer Worker Protection Act, the unveiling of Centro San Bonifacio’s new mural, and with the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights at their annual celebration.
The 39th District office team and I look forward to seeing neighbors at community events all summer long, especially at our Back-to-School Fair on August 12. If you are interested in helping out with the fair, please be sure to fill out this Volunteer Sign-Up Form.
