Our Office's Annual Winter Clothing Drive🧥🧣

Dear Neighbor,

I hope you and yours had a warm and restful holiday weekend. With the cold weather here to stay for the season, my office is partnering with local mutual aid networks on a Winter Clothing Drive. We are collecting donations of winter clothing and gear to be distributed by mutual aid groups on the Northwest Side in support of our neighbors experiencing houselessness and new arrivals to Chicago.

To donate items for our drive, you can stop by the following partnering offices or local businesses before December 19:

We are looking for new or gently used items from the list below:

  • 🧥 Winter Coats & Warm Clothing (sizes infant to adult medium)

  • 🥾 Winter Boots (sizes infant/toddler 5 to adult)

  • 🧣 Winter Hats, Gloves, Scarfs

  • 🧤 Pajamas (sizes 2T to adult medium)

Mercadito Navideño 

Spread Love Chicago is holding a mercadito of local businesses for the holiday season. Enjoy a music performance, a free movie, food, crafts, face painting, and more on Saturday, December 9 from 12-4pm at Kelvyn Park High School, 4343 W Wrightwood Ave.


Logan Square Restorative Economy Initiative Info Session

Center for Changing Lives and Co-Op Ed Center are hosting an info session to learn more about the restorative economy and work co-operatives. This info session will be on Thursday, November 30, from 6-7:30pm and held in person at 1955 N St. Louis Ave. or virtually. Register here.
