39th District Office Move 📦

Dear Neighbor,

I have some exciting news to share! This week, my office will be moving from our Cicero and Cornelia location to a spot that is more centralized to all parts of the 39th District. After the Fourth of July holiday weekend, you can find us at 3001 N Central Park Ave. We are beyond grateful to the Belmont Cragin community for being our immediate neighbors for the past four years and look forward to continuing to serve the 39th District as we start a new chapter in Avondale.

To prepare and carry out our move, in addition to observing the Fourth of July holiday, please note that our district office will be closed to the public from Wednesday, June 28 through Tuesday, July 4. We look forward to welcoming you to our new space soon!

In the meantime, you can still reach our office at (773) 853-2570 or email us at will@repguzzardi.com. And I look forward to seeing neighbors at our upcoming Town Hall Spring Legislative Session Recap! Representative Jiménez, Senator Aquino, and I will be breaking down what this new state budget and recent bills from this session mean for our families and communities. Join us at Kosciuszko Park on Friday, July 7. You can find out more details and RSVP Here: bit.ly/LegislativeTownHall2023.

Sincerely,

Will

Enrollment for Immigrant Health Coverage

Due to a recent gubernatorial notice, on July 1, enrollment for Health Benefits for Immigrant Adults (ages 42-64) will soon be frozen, and high copays will soon be instituted.

I’m deeply frustrated by this reversal. HBIA has been an extremely valuable program for making sure all our neighbors have quality health care regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.

As I join with other elected officials and organizations to collectively call for the immediate reversal of this notice and for full implementation of the Health Benefits for Immigrant Adults and Health Benefits for Immigrant Seniors Programs, be sure to apply at https://abe.illinois.gov/abe/access/ if you are 42+ and believe you may qualify for health coverage regardless of your immigration status. Enrollment will close on July 1, 2023.

Belmont Cragin Unity Bike Ride

Join Belmont Cragin elected officials and community organizations for a bike ride across the neighborhood on Saturday, July 8, 10am - 1pm! The bike ride will start and end at Riis Park, 6100 W Fullerton Ave.

Come together with neighbors after the ride for a picnic in the park from 12 - 1pm. Register here!
