πŸ—£οΈπŸ“’ Join us for two Upcoming Town Halls!

Dear Neighbor,

In these last few weeks, I have sent out a four part series of newsletters about my work in Springfield this spring session. Be sure to check those out here: www.repguzzardi.com/updates, to read about the state budget, major legislation passed, my own legislative wins, and ongoing work and issues.

I want to share two opportunities to hear more from me, as well as other Northwest Side legislators, as we unpack what this session means for all of us here in our communities.

First, this Saturday, June 20, I’ll be at The People’s Lobby’s State Budget Debrief Town Hall, β€œHow Our State Can Lead the Resistance at Carl Schurz High School, 3601 N. Milwaukee Ave. Doors will open at 11:00am, and the program will begin at 11:30am, including a brief overview of what happened with the state budget this session, followed by a Q&A session with a panel of elected officials.

And then on Tuesday, July 7, I would like to invite you to join Rep. Lilian Jimenez, Sen. Graciela Guzman, Sen. Omar Aquino, and me for our annual legislative town hall. We’ll gather from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Grace and Peace Church, 1856 N Leclaire Ave. to discuss the state budget and some key legislation we passed this session. Come with your questions, share your thoughts, and enjoy some tacos! Be sure to RSVP here: bit.ly/2026LTH.

All my best,

Will
